"Educated at New York University where he took his degree in Eng.Lit. He has been a staff member of Esquire and Playboy and edited the jazz magazine Metronome . He has also edited the anthology LSD, The Consciousness Expanding Drug ." [publisher's bumpf in The Marijuana Papers, UK pbk, 1969]


Busted in 'Operation Julie'.


"David Solomon...took to LSD after reading Huxley's works. Solomon, who had been one of the residents at the LSD fun-palace at Millbrook, edited two very influential collections of writings: LSD, The Consciousness Expanding Drug and the The Marijuana Papers . He moved to England in 1966.
